Children

Hartland UMC is pleased to announce that we will be offering Six Sunday
School classes this fall. Fall Sunday school begins on Sunday, September 7th.
The following is a brief desceiption of the classes, age ranges and teachers:
Explorers - Ages: Birth - 3 years - Nursery Director: Michelle Pollack
This is a loving environment where children can play in the loving care of our
nursery workers. This is the perfect place for infants, toddlers and little ones
that still need the constant care of an adult close at hand.
Adventurers - Ages: 3-1st Grade - Lead Teacher: Sandy McPherson
This is a class targeted towards children who are ready to work independent
of a parent for an extended period of time. Children will be expected to listen
to a Bible story and follow directions for game playing and craft time.
Trail Blazers - Ages: 2nd-3rd Grade - Lead Teacher: Brandy Archer
In this class children will take part in hands on activites to aid in
understanding Biblical stories. The students will choose daily challenges that
help connect lessons to daily life.
Rock Climbers - Ages: 4th-6th Grade - Teachers: Becky Toth & Becky
Wren: Children in this class will focus on thinking of others more than
themselves. These students are independent readers and thinkers. In the
Rock Climber class students will be encouraged to read and respond to Biblical
messages.
