Baptism is a gift of God to the church and to its people. As a sacrament, it is
both sign and means of divine grace. The church is the community of the
baptized and it is through baptism that new persons enter into it.

Children of Christian parents are launched on their salvation voyage in the
water of baptism. Through the atoning event of Jesus Christ, divine grace
claims all persons as soon as they have life. Through baptism we are marked
and claimed as God's children through the gift of the Holy Spirit. Baptism is
initiation and incorporation into the church and into the family of God.

If you sense a calling on your life or on the life of your children to be
baptized we would be glad to help. Please contact the pastor. Baptisms can
be arranged at most any of our Sunday Worship Services.
