Meet our pastor
In
addition to serving as pastor of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church, John P.
"Jack" Gilbert is a Christian Educator and well-know bible study
author. Jack has served as pastor of several small-membership churches in this
area and previously served the church for 28 years through curriculum resource
development, promotion and sales as a staff member of the United Methodist
publishing house.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, and Boston University School of Theology, Jack has undertaken graduated work in religious education at Boston University School of Theology and several other universities and seminaries.
His passions are adult Christian education, the local congregation, and the Gospel of John (although not necessarily in that order).
Jack and his wife, Rev. Nan Zoller, are the parents of five grown children and three grandchildren.
