Opportunities to Get Involved
Coffee Hour: We have many opportunities available for individuals or groups to help us join in fellowship and welcome visitors by providing snacks for coffee hour after worship. Receipts for expenditures may be submitted to the church office for reimbursement. Please consider participating in this important ministry. Sign up in the Narthex.
Donations for Toiletry Kits: The Youth Group has a goal of assembling 50 toiletry kits monthly. Donations of toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, razors, etc. are gratefully accepted. Items may be left in the designated box in the Vestry.
Meditation & Prayer by Phone: Join us by phone every Weds. morning for mediation and prayer. The call begins at 7:45 a.m. and concludes at 8 a.m. To join the call, dial 712-432-1960 and enter code 658031#.

Youth Group will meet from 12:30-2:30 p.m.

Special Announcements
The annual Edward L. Mark Lecture will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at Harvard-Epworth United Methodist Church. Elaine Wainwright, Richard Maclaurin Goodfellow Professor in Theology and Head of the School of Theology at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, will deliver the lecture and has chosen as her topic, "Parable and Parabler, Habitat and Humanity: Telling Gospel Stories Anew in the Face of the Ecological Imperative." The lecture is free and open to the public.
