At Hampton UMC, we realize that all of God's children are struggling to make some sense out of the nonsense in our lives. Therefore, we provide an accepting, caring, affirming, yet challenging atmosphere where God is the judge and we are the judged.
Hampton UMC is located in downtown Hampton, Georgia (aproximately 25 miles south of Atlanta). You can reach us via I-75 (exit 70, 7 miles to Hampton), or Highway 19/41, close to the Atlanta Motor Speedway -- home of Winston Cup Races in March and November, (turn at Waffle House towards the city).
Note: Hardee's is now Wendy's!
Services are held on Sundays at 8:30a.m. (a relaxed, less formal service in the chapel), at 9:45 a.m. (a come-as-you-are, contemporary service, held in the chapel), and at 11:00 a.m. (a traditional, worship experience in the sanctuary). There are also other times of worship, study, fellowship and lots of fun, along with many events and services meant to strengthen God's family. In addition to this, we will also be having other activities (online and offline) which are intended to bring us all closer to the Word of God. Click the Bible below for this month's topic of study.
