Our Mission

is to celebrate and share the word of God by welcoming all and providing a spiritual home to the international population of Hamburg.

In 2005 our congregation also became a part of AICEMEA — the Association of International Congregations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Worship Services

SUNDAY WORSHIP BEGINS AT 11:00 A.M.

Sunday School children worship with adults until after the Children's Moment, when they are dismissed to a class using United Methodist materials

After worship we spend time in fellowship over coffee, tea, juice, cookies (or biscuits, as you prefer!)

CHOIR

The "Wesley Singers" meet twice monthly on Saturdays at the parsonage in Hamburg-Hamm to prepare for monthly participation in worship. All singers are welcome.

Finding Us

We now meet in Hamburg-Altona:

Our new home in the ADVENTHAUS of the Adventist congregation is on Schillerstrasse, near the corner with Ehrenbergstrasse only 5 minutes from the Altona train station and a few minutes from the Altona city hall (Rathaus). Schillerstrasse runs from Ehrenbergstrasse to Königstrasse parallel to Max-Brauer-Strasse and Platz der Republik.  From the station follow the sings to "Museumstrasse/Elbe" until you reach the edge of the park "Platz der Republik." Turn left, cross both sreets at the next intersection and walk one block to Schillerstrasse, turning right to the third house.

Global Social Conerns

Study and Action Task Force

We meet monthly to study the United Methoidst Social Principles and to address acute local and global problems of concern to us.

The group meets at the Lutheran "St. Luke's Church" in Hamburg-Sasel, Auf der Heide 15 (near S-Bahn "Poppenbüttel" or "Wellingsbüttel" — check hvv.de).

We will use primarily English-language materials, and all who can deal with the English language at some level are welcome to join us. Call Evelyn Shah-Kreusch on (040) 6370 1144 for current information.
