Camp Scholarships for Grace UMC Children and Youth

When a child or youth attends camp today they:

·       experience Christian education equivalent to 9 months of weekly Church School

·       are mentored, encouraged and taught by trained volunteers and staff whose only goal is to enable campers to grow in faith

·       learn that living in Christian community is an experience of trust, fun, growth and nurture

·       return to their homes and church with a new commitment to serve and care

·       have the opportunity to worship God and learn what it means to follow Jesus Christ in their daily lives

When you give to Giving Above and Beyond in May you will be contributing to the camp scholarship fund for children and youth from Grace to attend camp.

A wonderful way to help is to give:

$ 100 for a full scholarship

$ 50 for a half scholarship

$ 25 for a quarter scholarship

     Thank you for caring for our own.

IT’S MOWING SEASON AGAIN

          If you would like to help with the mowing of the church grounds this spring or summer, please stop by the church office and sign up for a date.  We have the month of June covered by a generous donation.

VBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

          If you would like to help with Vacation Bible School this year please contact the church office or fill out the following form and place it in the offering plate.  VBS will be on Sunday evenings during June at Island Park.  Help will be needed with snacks, games and security.  A more complete list of items needed will be out soon.
