GROVEPORT  UNITED  METHODIST  CHURCH
Message From Pastor Jim Meredith

Recently a friend described our old church building as one of the Main Street “anchors” of the historic Groveport village.  That’s quite an appealing thought:  this church’s rich heritage in this place!  We are grateful for that heritage.  Yet, our vision is limited if we can see only the past.  The church is not just a building; and the place in which we worship is not just our building—it is God’s.  The Church (and the capital letter is appropriate here) is a collection of people created by the Father, saved through Christ, and working in partnership with the Holy Spirit for the purpose of doing God’s work in this world.  We never know fully where this adventure will take us; but we certainly extend to you the invitation to come and experience it with us.
