  March 29 - April 3   Children’s Week 2009 Tallahassee, Florida
    Hanging the tens of thousands of paper cut-outs of Children’s hands in the Florida State Capitol Rotunda
    has become   a tradition during Children’s Week. The hands will be dedicated to the 2009 Florida Legislature
    on Tuesday, March 31, at 9 a.m. inside the Rotunda. For more information,

  May 1-3   District Women's Retreat in Leesburg, FL - “Faith Steps—In Step with God”  

     Featuring Maisie Hartsfield, Director of Creative Arts/Worship Production at
      Van Dyke United Methodist Church; pianist Alice Dunk, Pasadena Community UMC; and
      Jennifer Atkinson, song leader and vocalist, Allendale UMC Lighthouse Praise Team. 

      The cost is $140, double occupancy. Scholarships of $30 are available, provided by the district Retreat Scholarship
