Church of the Good Shepherd offers a traditional worship service on a weekly basis
at 11:00 a.m.

Worship is the central act in the lives of Christians.
At Good Shepherd we desire to worship "in spirit and in truth,"
to share the gospel in ways that touch the lives of worshipers,
and to bring them into fuller relationship with God.

This is accomplished through sermons relating to real life struggles,
lively and inspirational music, children's moments
all in a feeling of a special community and fellowship.

The service includes traditional hymns with organ or piano accompaniment,
pastoral and silent prayer,
confession of faith,
Scripture readings,
and special music by ensemble, soloist or choir.

  • Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month. The order of service followed is found in the United Methodist Hymnal.

  • Baptism is usually performed during the 11:00 a.m. traditional service.

  • New members are received into membership at special services throughout the year and at any of the services on that day.

  • Additional services are held during Lent, Easter and Christmas Eve.
