VAUGHN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH was virtually destroyed by the April 2011 tornado.  UM Emergency Relief Teams from the North Georgia Conference and the Griffin District, as well as our District churches, worked non-stop in the Vaughn Community clearing debris and providing food and water to the volunteers and residents. 

Our prayers continue to be with all the people of Griffin-Spalding County who were directly affected, as well as the people of Lamar County.
