A collection box for used
Sunday School quarterlies, Bibles, daily devotionals, any Christian books,

Nest Ministries in Butler. Through their "Love Packages" ministry

Intern Starting Soon! Dan Shanks will be our college intern from
the Conference Internship Program. June 1st will be his first day.
He will help in various ways in our congregation, so that he can experience
ministry within the church setting at a deeper level. Dan will work
with the summer youth program, but will also make calls at the hospital
and other forms of ministry.

Lessie
Bates Davis Neighborhood House in East St. Louis is celebrating 100
years of ministry this year. One of their activities to help celebrate
their anniversary is "100 Acts of Kindness for 100 Years." To honor
Neighborhood House's 100 years of service, our church will collect 100
toothbrushes and 100 tubes of toothpaste. The brushes and toothpaste
will be collected through Easter, April 12th. A container will be
at the display in the narthex. The donations will be delivered on
Tuesday, April 18th, followed by a tour of the facilities. Everyone
is welcome to come along. Watch for more details and a sign-up sheet.

the Bond County Senior Center is always in need of food. If you can
help, please take the following items to the Senior Center: peanut butter
& jelly, soup, canned fruit, cereal, instant potatoes, instant pudding,

tuna, canned vegetables, macaroni and cheese, crackers, and Jello.
