The Greene Apple Festival is sponsored annually by the congregation of the

First United Methodist Church in Greene, NY.



It is an opportunity to enjoy a family oriented day

within a festive and enjoyable country fair setting.



The Apple Festival is held at the Ball Flats in Greene. The Ball Flats are located near the intersection of State Highway 206 and North Chenango Street in the middle of Greene, just off State Highway 12 and County Road 32. It is 22 miles southwest of Norwich and also coming from Utica, south on State Highway 12, 20 miles northeast of Binghamton coming north on Sate Highway 12, 13 miles from Interstate 81 at exit 8 to State Highway 206 coming east, in Whitney Point, coming from Cortland and Syracuse, 17 miles from Interstate 81 at exit 6 to north on State Highway 12, in the Town of Chenango, coming from PA, State Highway 17 and Binghamton, and 17 miles from Interstate 88 at exit 8 to State Highway 206 coming west, in Bainbridge, coming from Oneonta, Cooperstown and Albany.



The First United Methodist Church members have been involved in the Greene community activities since the founding of the local congregation in 1823. We encourage you to visit our website at www.gbgm-umc.org/greeneumc. We also invite you to worship with us. We have services at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. In the month of June, July and August they are at 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
