Applefest 2006 is Blessed...Again
God Has Blessed Us With This Event
The 20th Apple Festival is now history. Once again it was a huge success, with an estimated crowd of 18,000 people according to the police. Despite the predictions of rain and then the rain itself, people came and people stayed. To those who faithfully attend the Apple Festival each year and those who came for the first time, we thank you so much and hope that you had a good time.
To the crafters and food vendors, we hope that your day was successful as well. We welcome your participation each year and look forward to working with you again next year.
And to the community of Greene, without the support of the members of this community, the fire police, the emergency squad, the village police, and the village offices, plua area businesses and lots of prayers by everyone, this event could not take place.
So to all of you, from the members of the First United Methodist Church of Greene, NY., WE THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!

We honored Harry and Virginia Davis as Kng and Queen

The pies are a popular item for sale

The produce stand had lots of apple products for sale

We had the clown ministry performing along with the Moonlighters, the church choir, and the Gents Club 7. Pumpkin painting and face painting were also fun for the kids. There was lots of craft displays to see and food at the various food tents.

The food was great. And of course there was the cleanup after the festival was done.
