Whenever human suffering is great, in our
country and around the world, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
is hard at work trying to relieve human pain and loss in Christ's name. We can count on that, and we can be proud
that we are part of it! There are five
ways we can help:
1. Of course, the simplest way is to make a special financial gift. If you would like to do that, please write your check to the church and designate it "UMCOR relief."
2. At the
UMCOR distribution warehouse in Baldwin, LA, they are desperately low on “Flood
Buckets” and supplies.
3. Some of us could
GO to Sager Brown to help with sorting, packaging and shipping tasks related to
recent weather related disasters.
4. You can tell
friends and family who might like to help us collect the items on the list
below. Giving to help relieve human suffering (and to remind survivors
that God loves them) is a privilege. 5. Pray “The List” receiving blankets

suits.
