"The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of
women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons
in Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand
concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the
church."

UMW READING PROGRAM:
The Book Club meets the third Thursday of each month at 1:00 PM, in the Church
Library, around the Conference Table.

No matter who you
are or where you are in your life's journey, joining this group of committed
women is a unique opportunity to move in harmony with other women who have
been responding to the Purpose of the United Methodist Women for over 135
years.
For more information about
the ministries of the United Methodist Women and
Women's Division of the General Board of Global Ministries, please follow the
link to their website.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Next meeting, Thursday, March 6 @ 1:00 PM. Any requests for prayer
shawls or questions about the program, call Jackie Horton or Sally McClellan.

Just a reminder - UMW
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
At times throughout the year our United Methodist Women are in need of
volunteers to help prepare, serve and clean up for a variety of events here
at church. They include, funeral luncheons, dinners, etc. If you would be
willing to help in this by donating food, helping with set-up or clean-up, or
serving a meal, please take a moment and see that the church office gets the
information.

MEIJER REWARDS PROGRAM:
Since the changes to this program in the Spring, our
Meijer Rewards funding has greatly diminished. Please consider signing up for
this program today. If you shop at Meijer and pay with cash, debit card or Meijer
credit card--you can use the Meijer Rewards Program and support our church. It is
very easy to sign up on line under Meijer Rewards. In three years time we received
$4,189.69 from Meijer which has helped to fund several Sunday School projects.
If you have any questions, please contact DeeAnn Stickland.

2-5 gallons pails of pop tabs as well as another big bag full of tabs. Keep on
collecting those tabs because they do add up and the UM Community House is able
to cash them in for much needed supplies for their ministries.
