The Sunday School choir will be presenting a musical program during the worship service on Sunday, May 11, "Singing of God's Love".  We are starting to practice some of our songs and welcome any and all children to join us.   Won't YOU join us??

Our Sunday School Choir dates are as follows:

  • April 20th
  • May 11th

    Due to popular demand...CHILDREN'S CHURCH is now offered EVERY Sunday of the month. Join Pastor Tom up front for the Children's Sermon and then follow the leader downstairs to our Children's Church Room. The kids will return to the sanctuary before Communion or during the final hymn. Children's Church is for 3 year olds through 2nd grade. JOIN US!!

    Sunday School begins each week at 9:00am. So...Rise and Shine and Give God the Glory!! We've got classes for 3-4 year olds, Kindergarteners, 1st through 12th graders, Adults, and even offer Nursery for our babies and toddlers. It's never too late to join us...we'd LOVE to have you!!



    YOUTH MISSION WORK TRIP NEWS ~ Hey, Hey...let's celebrate St. Patrick's Day!! Our Senior High Youth Group is hosting a St. Patrick's Day dinner on Saturday, March 15th at 6:00 PM. They are raising funds for their Mission Trip to Memphis, Tennessee this summer. Please come out and support them by enjoying a delicious meal. Visit the Welcome Center or call the church office to make your reservation for this "guaranteed to be fun" event!! The reservation deadline is March 9th. Got other plans but still want to show your support? Consider making a special donation to the Youth Trip Mission Fund. The kids are FIRED UP and ready to SERVE!!

    Are you tired of all this snow? Have you started dreaming about summer weather...sunshine and sandy beaches? Vacation Bible School will be here before you know it...and we're having a BEACH PARTY this year!! We need lots of volunteers. If you'd like to help... please let Erin Balley know...and we'll get you signed up!! VBS is June 16, 17, 18 and 19. Monday through Thursday in the evening!! It's going to be a SPLASH!! Can't make it to VBS? I always need help in advance with scenery, decorations, set-up and take-down, too. Come see me...I'll put you to work!

    ATTENTION MISSION TRIP KIDS, PARENTS and CHAPERONES: Please plan to attend an informational meeting following worship, on Sunday, March 30th. Trip details and plans will be shared.

    Need a mid-week treat? Dinner and A Movie Nights:

  • March 26th: Meet the Robinson's.
    Dinner is ready at 5:45 PM and the Movie starts at 6:30. Come and join us for fun and fellowship. Bring your kids, grandkids, neighbors and friends!! All ages are welcome!!

    CALLING ALL CAMPERS!! Church Family Camp on Lake Michigan near Pentwater, Wednesday - Sunday, August 6 - 10. Everyone is welcome to stay one night or more at Lake Michigan United Methodist Camp. Sites available for tents, trailers, motor homes or use of a platform tent with six beds. The cost is $28.00 a night (the price has not gone up in 3 years) and full payment is due when reserving site. It is a relaxing, fun time in God's beauty. Call Barb Foley with any questions.

    SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES FOR ALL

    PRESCHOOL PEANUTS!!  Brianna Peterman and Jacob Peterman will be the smiling faces in the 3-4 year old classroom this year. Get ready to sing, make crafts and explore Bible Stories, it's sure to be fun!!

    FIRE UP FAITH SEEKERS!! (Grades K-4)  I bet you'll see some familiar faces!! Your Teachers and Shepherds are anxiously waiting to help you explore and learn. You'll get to hear stories, cook in the kitchen, play games, be an artist, sing and rejoice...and so much more!!

    MIDDLE SCHOOLERS!!  (Grades 5-8) Greg Westcott will be waiting to greet you...so flash him a brilliant smile and get ready to jump into class. You'll learn some great things about what Christians do and ways to change your world. Don't miss it!!

    HIGH SCHOOLERS!!  (Grades 9-12) Bill Foley is going to guide you through your Sunday School Worship, where you'll learn about some extraordinary people. He's got some great stuff planned and wants to see YOUR smiling face each week. Be There!!

    Adult Sunday School Class ~ Gary Vruggink invites you to his class. Bring a Bible, share one, we'll find one for you if you want or participate without one - we are a diverse group!
