Dear Reader:

Please review the attached list for scripture readers for the next few months at Gracewood United Methodist Church. If you cannot read the Sunday you are scheduled please notify Lois at the church office (798-2200) or call me at 855-6524. We can swap or replace you for that Sunday.

The church office will contact you the week you are to read.

- Please review the scripture and if you have a problem pronouncing some of the words ask Ron or others for assistance.

- When you are to do the reading please be prepared and close to the front of the sanctuary so that when the offering has been placed on the altar you can immediately be at the podium to read.

- Please use a microphone. You may have a strong, loud voice but some people do not have strong ears for hearing the word.

- Ask the congregation to rise for the reading of the word. This is done out of respect for the word of God.

I wish to thank all of you who continue to read and when called upon are always willing to say yes. You bless us all with your continued service to the Lord.

If you know of someone who is not on the list but would like to read on Sunday, please have him or her call me or let me know and I will contact him or her.
