The Praise and Worship of God
Second Sunday Of Easter
April 3, 2005
WE GATHER
At
the "*" stand as able.
Our vision at
Grace
United
Methodist
Church
is that people of all ages in this community experience the care, nurturing and
love
of the Good Shepherd. Where spiritual healing is needed, we seek to provide
rest and renewal. Where there is spiritual longing, we seek to provide
opportunities for growth. Where there is loneliness and despair, we seek to
offer fellowship and hope. Where there is a need, we endeavor to lend a helping
hand. Where the message of Christ is silent, we must proclaim it.

*CALL TO WORSHIP: (sung

Low
in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose,
(he arose)
With a mighty triumph o’er His
foes, (o’er his foes)
He
arose a victor from the dark domain,
And
He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose!
(he arose) He
arose! (he arose)
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

The Lord’s Prayer (prayed together)
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And
forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine
is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

by
Nancy Price & Don Besig
Filled with the spirit, filled with God’s
grace,
filled
with the friendship we find in this place;
called
as disciples, go now in faith.
Jesus
will show the way. Go out and serve Him, serve Him.
Carry
His Word into all of the world.
Go
and serve Him, serve Him.
Go
out and serve our Lord. Go serve our Lord.
