What is Grace UMC in Elwood All About?

Grace Methodist Church has around 100 members, with about 50 people in attendance on Sunday morning. There are young families, children, youth and older adults in the congregation. If you were to ask anyone in Elwood what Grace Church is all about, they would tell you that Grace Methodist is a family. They truly care about one another, and keep in touch during the week. The amazing thing is that although they are a close family, they are so inviting to new-commers.

As you will see from our mission statement, along with being a family, Grace Methodist is an assembly of Christians committed to living the Christian life. That is, they are committed to being Christ-like, (after all, that is the definition of the word Christian). This means that they are growing in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, and in their love and service of others.
