A WONDERFULLY SUCCESSFUL VBS AND TEEN CLUB!
We had such an outstanding Vacation Bible School and Teen Club this year due to the great kids, teens, volunteers and all that supported these two programs. It takes a huge amount of support from our church to make this happen and we thank all of you that helped in some way!
We especially thank our VBS teachers, assistants and helpers- Alyssa (Marte Ganzel's granddaughter), Rev. Jeff Babb, Marlea Balliett, Rebecca Bourgeois, Jan, Tara and Tori Constance, Doris (Rachel Sadler's grandma), Kaitlynne Foerster, Donna Graybill, Katie and Jeff Moore, Mike Morgan, Nicole (Alyssa's friend ), Delia Stewart, Nathan and Jan Teves, Emily Thalhofer, Michelle Turton, LuAnne VanderHorst, Susan and Jessica Weinberg, Jeannette White, and Garrett Zimmerman. And thanks to those who helped with decorations and craft preparations- Kim Brummond, Franki and Mattie Cassaday, Leon and Traci Constance, Heather Farmer, Joy Foster, Carol Greenwald, Betty Johnson, Marion MacNeill, Dorothy Shelton, Cole and Laine Stewart and James Turton.
And thanks to Kevin Lapczynski, Clark Milsom, Rev. Jim Reuteler and Annaleigh Timmerman for supervising the Teen Club. A special thanks to all the Thursday Morning Work Crew that prepared in advance the bird houses then worked with the teens to put them together.
Thanks to Carol Jones' idea a few years back, we share the decorations with three other churches. Volunteers from these churches start meeting in March to prepare the decorations.
Last, but certainly not least, thanks to the Constance Family (Jan, Leon , Tara , Tori and Traci). They put an incredible amount of work into VBS months before it starts and during the event.
God's love radiated through all the smiles and laughter of the students and volunteers and was transferred so many times in lots and lots of hugs! We are already looking forward to next year's event which will have a secret agent theme.
