Pastor's Corner
Hi! Have we met?
I may be new here and it may be summertime, but I would still like to meet you. We all bring something to the church to make it what it is or what it might become. I am committed. Not just because I've bought my first house for hundreds of thousands of dollars but because I want to give all I can to make Grace all it can be. The apostle Paul was a pretty wise man. He knew that it was the power of God working in the church that made it alive and dynamic. The most important thing was to be committed to Christ and willing to follow. I have to admit that I am already a little tired and I just got here. I've been painting and packing and unpacking and buying furniture. Yet Grace church is alive and working hard. The Vacation Bible School was a great success. Worship, although different than I'm used to, is inspiring (we have great musicians and singers). As the body of Christ there is much to see and do. We, the staff, are getting ready for the fall return of the wandering members. We hope to have new programs for the young and the not-so-young, and maybe even a bell choir or two. I'd like to see a plethora of small coffee/Bible study groups who meet to share scriptures and life. We need to get together and pray and study and learn about each other. Think and pray about your gifts and graces and listen for God's calling in your life. Kathy and I are delighted to be here at Grace.
God Bless,
Rev. Jeff
