Cherokee Wisdom..... Two Wolves One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a Battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, The battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, Greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment Inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, Empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed." |

| Men's Bible Study |
Tuesdays at 7pm starting on September 8th.
The Men's Bible Study begins where all Biblical prophecy is rooted; with the promises of God to Abraham and his descendents. Everything experienced in the future by people and nations of the world will be tied in some way to God's plan for Israel. This study then moves to the future. Since prophecy is telling the future before it happens, the study will help us to know the signs of the future and what to look for. If God spoke truthfully about it and it was fulfilled, we know that events spoken of in the future will also be fulfilled. Topics will include:Rebirth of Israel, Revival of Roman Empire, Four Hourseman, War of Gog and Magog, Rise of Radical Islam, Rapture of Believers, Worlds final Battle, Return of Christ the King and future glory for believers. Resources: Holy Bible, What in the World is Going On by Dr. David Jeremiah, Countdown to the Apocalypse by Grant Jeffrey, From Daniel to Doomsday by Dr. John Hagee, The Signs of the End by Zola Levitt. The Men's Bible study will be headed by Norm Fleeman. |
