Local Missions Committee and Fund

Enables our church to respond to persons in the Goldston area with special needs(for example, medical expenses, school related needs, utility bills, transportation to area hospitals). Some needs are brought to our attention by church members. Others are reffered to us through the schools or agencies such as Hospice or the Council on Aging.

Our church supports our local elementary school, J.S. Waters, thru prayer for each teacher and staff member. We also supply "Snack" needs for children who would not otherwise have them. The beginning and ending of each school year is celebrated with a luncheon for the teachers. The food is provided by our church members.
