Fellowship Opportunities

Guys Lunch Out is a group for widowers and retired members and friends that meet the third Thursday at 12:15 p.m. They travel to area restaurants for food and fellowship. Contact: Jerry Keller, 627-8167

Caring Connections is a group sharing sewing, knitting and other needle arts skills to create items for those with needs. Contact: Janet Haueter 627-9352 or Dana Hawks 622-1990

Stephen Ministries is a Christian based caring group composed of trained care givers who meet and work with care receivers. This ministry is offered to our congregation as a way to “care for” one another and give support to our Christian family. All Stephen Ministers go through an extensive training process. Contact: Les Algren, 627-8292

Parish Health Ministries is a group of people with medical backgrounds developing a program promoting the integration of mind, body, and spirit for the betterment of health of our congregation. Contact: Dana Hawks, 622-1990.

United Methodist Women is comprised of two circles. Their purpose is: “To know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ: to develop a creative, supportive fellowship: and, to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.” Enrichment meets the first Monday evening at 7:00 p.m., for a program and fellowship in the Church parlor or individual homes. United Fellowship meets on the first Thursday at 10:00 a.m., in the Church parlor with a program and fellowship. Contact: Marlene Jacquette, 622-3813.

United Methodist Men are all invited to meet at the Little Log Jam on the second Saturday at 8:00 a.m., for a dutch-treat breakfast and fellowship. There are occasional activities in which the men participate, such as Lenten breakfasts or an occasional work day at the Church. Contact: Jerry Keller 627-8167

An adult fellowship group meets periodically for Christian fellowship, food and conversation. Contact Amy Hirschman at hirschy11@gbronline.com.
