Christian Education

Several sub-groups comprise a lively Christian Education program at GUMC.

Sunday School
Classes for students ages 2 though 18 are offered during the 9:30 am Worship Services each Sunday morning.  An infant room is also available.
The Sunday School Education Committee is chaired by Donna Brackins.

Middle School and High School Youth engage in a wide range of social and mission related activities.  Youth group meets Sunday evenings at 6:00.  Contact Jackie Benner for more information.

Glenelg United Methodist Church Nursery School children, ages three to five (Pre-K) attend classes. Some traditional activities include Thanksgiving Share Feast, Family Christmas Party, Mother's Day Tea Party, and a program where Dads participate in an evening event.

Vacation Bible School
Held during the last week of July, VBS serves approximately 150 children each year.
