CHILDREN & YOUTH FALL PROGRAMMING RESUMES REGULAR SCHEDULE

Our children and youth programs will resume on regular schedule the week of September 15. We invite children and youth to become involved in any or all of these special programs for a time of learning, worship and fellowship.

SENIOR RECOGNITION

We join with three of our families in celebrating graduation from high school.

Skyler Leaman, son of Margaret Leaman and grandson of Jeanne Byerley, will graduate from Sullivan South High School on May 31.  Skyler enjoys drawing and sketching and has had several pictures published in the Literary magazine at South.  He plans to attend Northeast State in the fall, majoring in graphic arts.

Michael Kimbler, son of Paul and Donna Kimbler, will graduate from Sullivan South High School on May 31.

Kayla Gray, daughter of Randy and Kathy Gray and granddaughter of Norma Gray, will graduate from Sullivan South on May 31.  Kayla is a member of the Beat Club and Photography Club at South and has been presented in Who's Who for three consecutive years.  She plans on attending either Northeast State or East Tennessee State University, majoring in Early Childhood education or Psychology.

YOUTH TO DIVIDE INTO JUNIOR & SENIOR HIGH GROUPS

Our youth has divided into Junior and Senior High groups for Sunday evening fellowship activities. They will continue to meet together for snack suppers each Sunday and occasionally come together for special activities.

Senior High counselors will be Ned Morrell and Debbie Gray and they will meet in the Senior High lounge. The Junior High counselors will be Tracy Jones, Jane Ann Carico and Maria Conkin and they will meet in the Junior High lounge.

Keep our youth in your prayers as they embark on a new year of study, fellowship and service.

Looking for a place to "hang out" on Sunday evenings?

Come join us each Sunday evening for fun, fellowship, study and worship.  We meet at 6:00 p.m. for a snack supper (cost is $1.00).  Then from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., we gather for fellowship and study.  We often enjoy special outings to go bowling, lazer tag, putt-putt, or an ice cream run.  All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join the fun of UMYF.
