"The Whole Group"

Resurrection 2002

The youth participated in Resurrection 2002 on January 18 - 20.  This is an annual event sponsored by the Holston Conference in Gatlinburg, TN.  There were 25 youth and 7 counselors, including Preacher John, that attended from Glen Alpine.  The guest speaker for the sessions was Shane Caliborne, a native of Maryville, TN.  He also attended Resurrection as a youth in high school.  He now works with the homeless in Philadelphia.  He brought a very inspirational message.  James Ward and band led thousands of youth in music.
