Our Mission
The First UMC of Genoa City...
- Lives in God's love. In God's love we find forgiveness, nurture, freedom, comfort, strength, and faith. We come to know God's love through prayer and worship, through our accepting and communing with each other.
- Provides a place for worship, comfort, love, a place to belong.
- Tells the story of the Bible, of Jesus, of salvation.
- Lives the story of reaching out, trying to be disciples, supporting, forgiving, loving and serving. We live the story of following Christ in our fellowship, in our teaching, in our working together with joy and in our trying to live each day by the "Golden Rule."
- By the Grace of God, this has been, this is now, and this is what we will continue to strive to be as the First United Methodist Church in Genoa City.
