Vigil - Spend
an hour in prayer and meditation
between noon and 8:00pm on
Saturday, November 21st
in preparation for our Celebration
Sunday.
There is a sign up sheet
for this important vigil in the
Narthex.

Sunday –
is on Nov. 22nd
and will be followed by our Celebration
Dinner (Pot Luck )
immediately after the 11:00
service.

Advent
Evening on Thursday, December
3 at 6:30 pm. All
adults are invited to attend.
This evening will include an Advent
program and a catered dinner.
Please sign up in advance so that the
correct number of meals are ordered.

Needs Your Help – One again
we come to you in need.
We are finding so many people
in our community in need these days so
it’s necessary to once again appeal
to you.
We are in need of all food
items, and the following personal
items:
shampoo, dish detergent,
laundry soap, tissue, paper towels and
bar soap.
Items may be placed in the
grocery cart in the Narthex.
Anything you can do to help
will be appreciated and we thank you
in advance for your
generosity!

for our Soldiers in Iraq and
Afghanistan –
Please bake a batch of cookies to
send to our soldiers.
Package them up in zip lock
bags with 6 cookies per bag.
The Burton VFW post is hoping
to have 4,000 cookies to send to the
soldiers on Nov. 18, 2009.
Can’t you just see the
smiles on their faces as they
receive these homemade cookies in
time for Christmas.
Please have the cookies at
church by 11:00 on Nov. 18.
They will be delivered to the
Burton VFW in the afternoon.
