Church History  Future and Vision


Garfield United Methodist Church has been in the service of Christ for over 100 years.  The church was organized in 1900 as Mt. Carmel United Brethren Church, and merged with the United Methodist Church in 1968.

Garfield - a place of glory and praise to our worthy and wonderful God!

Youth and Young Adult Bible Study -- "The Top 13 Questions About God" will meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the church.  This study is for ages 13-30 and will meet at 6:00.

July 19th from 9:00 to 12:00 there will be a meeting to catch the new vision at Garfield.  We will re-evaluate our vision, hopes and dreams for Garfield.  There will time in bible Study and prayer and share our hopes for our congregation as move forward to as a single station church.

 


The mission of the Garfield United Methodist Church is to live individually and in community as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, to tell His story to others, and to live in faith and obedience to God as revealed in the Bible and through the Holy Spirit.
