2009
As we begin a new year, we look forward with
great anticipation and excitement of what
God might be up to at Garfield. As we
consider the past year, there are two areas
of our church that we want to focus on for
the new year. First, lets pray especially
for the leaders of our church. We are in a
new era of our church, now supporting a
full time pastor, and looking ahead to new
ministries and programs to offer to the
community. With this comes great challenges,
so lets keep our leaders lifted up as they
seek after the Lords will and direction for
our church.
The second area for us to
focus on is our children and young
families. We are blessed by many young
children and young people in our church. But
there are many choices in the world today
for young people to be involved with. Lets
pray that our young people will be able to
be a part of our church during the year,
that our children may be raised to know the
joy and wonder of our wonderful God. Lets
make this the year of our families, focusing
on helping our young families be a part of
our church family in many ways. Lets keep
them lifted up in our prayers, lets make
ourselves available to support them however
we can that they may be a great part of our
church family.
Lets focus on these things together, and
may Garfield be a place of glory and praise
to our worthy and wonderful God!
