Our Purpose in Christian Education
As United Methodists, we believe that we are on a lifelong journey of faith -
always growing and changing, teaching and learning. All of us need to grow into
Christ and live in ways that are patterned after Jesus Christ. Our teaching
ministry helps to ensure this continued growth.
"Growing in faith" involves increasing our knowledge of God and the Christian
faith, becoming more committed to Christ, allowing God to transform our lives,
and helping one another through mutual support and accountability.
Through our Christian Education programs we invite people and communities of
faith to be transformed as they are inspired and challenged to:
- Know and experience God through Jesus Christ.
- Claim and live God's promises; and
- Grow and serve as Christ's disciples.
