Welcome to First United Methodist Church—Valdese, “First Church”. We are a family-friendly, diverse congregation that seeks to follow Jesus’ command to “feed my sheep”. We are the church that feeds people—physically, intellectually, spiritually and emotionally with a variety of ministries and relationships. Through our passionate worship, numerous small group studies, children & youth ministries, mission outreach, and more, we tend the body, mind, soul and spiritual needs of our congregation and community.
