Another successful Word of Life Superbowl, we had 30
Students and 10 adult leaders this year, growing
our numbers yet again. A fun night was had by all
watching the Falcons play hockey. Although it
was a loss it was a close and exciting game. We
were able to witness at least 8 of our students
make it out on the ice for different activities
as well as a few t-shirts caught in the stands.
After the hockey game we experienced a testimony
by a local man which resulted in a few of our students
coming forward and confirm their faith in Christ.
Thanks be to God! At about midnight we left Springfield
for Sports World to play soccer, football, dodge
ball, and many other games. At about 3:00a.m. we
left East Windsor and went to Wilbraham, MA to
Interskate 91 to finish off the evening with roller
skating. We returned to FUMC at 5:45a.m. Let’s
plan on doing it again next year!
