We're Painting!

We're painting the front of our church building. Our contractor will be ready to start the painting in May. The workers have been here for the last couple of weeks doing the prep work for this project. You're contribution in “paint can” shares will help us proceed with this project. If you would like to donate, or make a pledge to our painting project, you may either mail your gift to the church or drop it off in the paint can at the back of the sanctuary. Thank you!

		Each square on the graph represents $50 worth of paint.

Ushers Needed

Please consider becoming an usher during worship on Sundays. Let us know if you can partake in this capacity. We appreciate your participation.

Souperbowl of Caring

Next Collection is Sunday, June 1

Our Sunday School program and Program Ministries team will be collecting non-perishable food items, toiletry items, food store gift cards, and money for the local food pantry and Safe-Net ministries.

Each Communion Sunday, a basket and soup pot will be located in the sanctuary for donations. If you would like some ideas for donations, view our list of suggestions.

Vacation Bible School 2008

Vacation Bible School will be held Sunday, July 27, through Thursday, July 31. The theme this year will be "Rainforest Adventure". It is open to all children, preschoolers through grade 6.

We are looking for helpers for Vacation Bible School. Amy needs assistance painting the props. Please email the church or let Amy know if you can help.

Confirmation Class

We are beginning to plan the Confirmation Class curriculum. Any youth in grades 7 through 9 who have not yet been confirmed and are interested in participating, please contact Pastor Joe or Kris Verny. If you have a youth who will be participating, please fill out the questionnaire regarding classes and return to Pastor Joe or Kris Verny.

3 vs 3 Basketball Tournament - Update

The 3 vs 3 basketball tournament was held at Stafford High School on Saturday, December 29, 2007. It was very successful. We raised enough money to buy 313.5 insecticide treated bed nets for the people in Africa. Thank you to all who sponsored players, donated food, or helped out in any way.
