Thank you for a wonderful time in worship last Sunday! The Hand Bell Choir did a fine job in their first presentation of the season and they were a grand encouragement throughout the service. We had a fantastic group together for worship and God was with us in a magnificent way!
I am grateful to those who came to help with Open House plans Sunday night. This is going to be one monumental month in the life of First United Methodist Church!

God is moving in wonderful ways in our lives and Pastor Steve Ulrey and the members of First United Methodist Church want to let everyone know what Christ has done in our life lately. We welcome one and all to come see and experience the grace of God with us at Open House.

We had several people volunteer to help on our work crews. I will be asking others to help us make this Open House a special event for our church and our community. If God is calling you in a specific way, please let me know. Here are some of the places we need help.

Publicity Crew: Provides basic information to church and community.
F-R-A-N Crew: Leads the invitation of all members of the congregation and community to Open House.
Prayer & Share Crew: Involve the church in prayer and testimony for Open House.
Hospitality Crew: Lead the church in extending an effective welcome to all.

We will be "doing" Open House the entire month of October. PLEASE be much in prayer! The Enemy is not going to like this and he will do all he can to distract and hinder! Let's unite in the name of Christ and nothing can stop us!
