At its January 2003 meeting the Council on Ministries authorized a $1000 annual contribution to the Wesley Foundation at the University of Arkansas--Monticello. In addition, the Council underwrites the cost of providing food once a year for the Wesley's "Soul Food" program. "Soul Food" is a program which provides a noon meal for drop-in students on Mondays when school is in session, followed by a brief program. Attendance averages between 80 and 100.
