This group has been in existence since the early 1970’s, albeit meeting on different days and in different places over the years. It now meets in the Administration Building (in the room numbered 35 on the Facilities Map) at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays. Attendance ranges from 5 to 15. Most of the participants are retirees.
Jim Manning is normally the leader with others (usually John Hollimon) filling in from time to time.
The primary resource is recordings of Sunday School lessons taught by Dr. Thomas L. Constable, Chairman and Senior Professor of Bible Exposition at Dallas Theological Seminary, at Plano Bible Chapel in Plano, TX in the late 80's and early 90's. Dr. Constable founded Plano Bible Chapel in 1966 while still a student at Dallas Theological Seminary.
The group is currently engaged in a 10-month long study of the Gospel According to Mark which will continue into the spring of 2009.
