Friday to Sunday, April 18 - 20: FUMC Youth Play
Watch out, the FUMC Youth Play is coming up again this year!
We laugh. We clap. We congratulate the kids. But even more, they are
able to realize their own potential to speak in public, take on a role,
and work effectively with each other and with the whole host of parents
and supporters who make this possible. Through the writing and directing talents of Greg and Annie Lamy,
our Youth perform an original drama annually that will be long
remembered for humor, story, and simply a great time in getting ready
and presenting the play. |
Tuesday, June 17: Men vs. Youth Barbeque and Volleyball
Each year the Men's Group has claimed the bragging rights for this
event. Will this be the year when the Youth show the Men up?
Come join all the youth as we try to beat the men. We will enjoy a
barbeque dinner, volleyball, and dessert. Bring a friend, your
game face, and your appetite.
|
Did we mention that you can bring a friend?
|
Scholarships: Please let Nancy Kramer or Tonja McCarthy know
if you need financial assistance for any activity. No youths will
be turned away because of finances.
|
Look for announcements of other events to be mailed. Call Nancy Cramer (530-676-1520) if you have any questions. |

Devo'Zine
Devo'Zine
is a devotional magazine designed just for youth and published by Upper
Room Ministries. It is written by teenagers and by adults who work
with and care about teens, to help youth 12-18 years old develop
a lifelong practice of spending time with God
and of reflecting on what God is doing in their
lives.
Devo-Zine has on-line content, e-mail lists
and e-cards, and a bi-monthly, 64-page,
full-color magazine focusing on nine themes, one
for each week. Devo'zine's vision includes a worldwide community of teens
encouraging and challenging each other, with opportunities to chat with other teens
about life and God, share
poetry, opinions, and writing, to
get extra spiritual food for your Christian
walk.
