Hurricane Katrina carried heavy rains and high winds that wrought catastrophic damage to the Gulf Coast. This is one of the many areas where the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) responds to the needs of the thousands of people affected by this and other disasters. UMCOR will continue to provide assistance to the people left most vulnerable, for years to come. Donations to the UMCOR's response can be made online through UMC.org's secure server.
