Music
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a very talented volunteer choir that sings anthems
by the classical masters and contemporary composers, such as John Rutter,
during Sunday morning worship. No audition is required. We welcome participation
from anyone with a desire to sing! The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings
at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday morning before worship service at 9:30 a.m. For
more information, contact Tim Coles or send e-mail to timcoles@comcast.net.
Hand Bell Choir
The Bell Choir is a volunteer organization that rings traditional English
bells. Rehearsals are held every Sunday morning at 9 a.m., and the Bell Choir
plays at numerous worship services and special events throughout the year.
To learn more about the Bell Choir, contact Lee Shaw at leeshawpgh@juno.com.
Instrumentalists
Do you play a musical instrument? Instrumentalists are always welcome to play
solo anthems or play with others in ensemble combinations during the worship
service. Instrumentalists are also needed to accompany the Chancel Choir for
special presentations. For more information, contact Tim Coles or send e-mail
to timcoles@comcast.net.
Contemporary Music
Our church offers a modern and everyday look at our Christianity with an alternative
Wednesday evening worship service. Worship On Wednesdays (W.O.W.!) includes
a new contemporary musical sound, as well as engaging sermons and testimony.
Anyone interested may participate in music offerings, dramas, or multi-media
presentations that are part of that service. For more information, contact
Tim Coles or send e-mail to timcoles@comcast.net.
