With another Thanksgiving Day on the horizon, let's turn our thoughts to a little introspection. For example:
What kind of life would we be living today if it were not for our relationship to this wonderful God of ours?
What kind of person would we be, what kind of values would we hold?
I suspect that you feel as I do. It is an absolute frightening thought to live in this complex, competitive world without God, without our Creator!
God has been so very kind to me, and I can't imagine overcoming the troubles in my life--hanging on--just in my own strength.
I had a strange conversation with God just last night. I said "Lord, I really do not deserve the many blessings that you bestow on me!"
The Lord's reply made me smile and hold HIS hand even tighter, "You deserve what I SAY you deserve. Now, go back to sleep!"
I guess that Jimmy Stewart was right IT IS A WONDERFUL LIFE!
