Welcome from Pastor Jackson Brewer -
Genesis 12:1-2 (God said to Abraham, I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great and you will be a blessing (to the entire world).
The congregation of First Church has certainly felt the blessings of God over the past years. We have just celebrated 150 years in our present sanctuary and are in the middle of a Building First…Growing For Christ building program that will result in a new Christian Life Center scheduled for completion by June of 2007. We have felt the Lord’s leading in these projects and He has blessed His people with the resources to do more than we ever could have dreamed or envisioned. We are reminded of the Lord’s words to Abraham when he commanded him to leave his home and go to a new land. He promised Abraham that he would make him into a great nation and would bless him mightily and that Abraham would be a blessing to the entire world. We are very aware that God has blessed us to be a blessing to others.
Please feel welcomed to participate in all the ministries and programs offered at First Church. Also consider how God has blessed you and how you can best be a blessing to others.
