We have an exciting ministry to youth in grades six through twelve that is dedicated to making disciples of the youth of our church and community. This ministry is under the leadership of Todd Owen, who
leads a dedicated team of adults who volunteer their time with the youth. Peggy and Ed McClure and Karen
and Steve Criswell are our youth coordinators, and Steve Criswell, Pam Armstrong, Matt and Michelle Wagoner and Taylor and Natalie Kelley are our Sunday School teachers. We are also blessed to have the help of
Patricia Dobbins, Kindra Stark, and Nancy Howard for our Wednesday night program.
The youth ministry works to make disciples of our youth through a four-fold process of Receiving,
Relating, Equipping, and Sending. We first seek to Receive youth into our fellowship where they can be accepted as they are and learn about God's love and grace in a safe and fun environment. Next, we Relate them
to God through Jesus Christ, showing them how God's love for them and a relationship with Jesus Christ can
be a very real experience for their lives each and every day. We constantly Equip our youth through our lessons to live their faith and to share their faith in the situations they find themselves in at school, at home, and
out in the community. Finally, we Send them out into the community and beyond to serve through mission
and community outreach opportunities.
