Senior Adult Ministry

Trips: Cocoa Village Playhouse “Annie” Saturday, November 14^th at 2:00 Matinee.  Ticket- $18.70.  Lunch (on own) will be at Café Unique (Amish).  We leave the church at 11:30 and return by 4:30 p.m. Ticket money is due by Nov. 8th (cash or check to Johnnie Faye Lane).  One of world’s best loved musicals, presenting Annie, Miss Hannigan, F.D. Roosevelt, Daddy Warbucks, Grace Farrell and Mutt, Sandy.  Gas and maintenance collected on bus.

Birding Trip - On November 21st, we will be leaving for our bird watch at 10:00 a.m. and return by 3:00 p.m.  We will stop for lunch at 11:00 a.m. at the Whistle Stop Buffet and Grill, and visit the Nature Center for the remainder of the time.

Tuesday, December 1– Historian Andrew Batten program – “1820 – The Year They Invented Christmas”.  Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science, 10:00 a.m. program.   Lunch (on own) at 11:30 at Fabulous 50’s.   Bus departs 9:30 a.m. and returns by 2:30 p.m.   If time permits, we will visit Butterfly Gardens.

Medical Equipment Needed: We recently have had several people fall and are looking for the following medical equipment: portable commode seat, shower chair, wheelchair, and walker/stick.   If you have equipment that you could loan, it would be very much appreciated.  Thanks.  Contact office – 783-8991.

SAM Pot Luck Luncheons on the 3^rd Wed. of the month in Eschtruth Hall will resume in January.
