OUTREACH

We strive to reach out in God's love through many services and opportunities.

Evangelism: We have lay visitation programs to the homebound, hospital patients, new people in the community, and members of the congregation.  We have new-member classes at the church.

Missions:  In addition to fully funding Global Missions, support is provided to former missionary, Lena Eschtruth, as well as other long and short-term projects.  Various groups of the church supplement a variety of mission programs and projects nationally and internationally. Special offerings are received during the year to meet specific needs.

A monthly donation is sent to the Brevard Correctional Institute/Jail Ministry, for the purpose of providing Bible studies and other religious literature and helps.

Money is collected each 5th Sunday to send to the Florida United Methodist Church Children's home in Enterprise, Florida.

We have a Sandwich Ministry which provides 50 sack lunches and drinks for Northwind Ministries the second Monday of each month.

Community:We join other area churches in providing help for people who need food, counseling, or gasoline.  Assistance is also provided for children and adults in time of special needs.  Our pastor is on call for emergencies with the Cocoa Beach Police Department.

Scouts:Boy Scouts of America meet on Mondays at 7 p.m.
