Our Child Care Center has spaces available for children ages 1 4. If you need child care or know someone who does,
contact them at 321-784-8881 or stop by the Child Care Center office.
Early
Bulletin Deadline for Sunday, November 29th Due to Thanksgiving, the deadline for
inputs to this bulletin will be Monday, November 23rd, at 12:00 noon. In addition, the
office will be closed on November 26th & 27th.
Changes
to Missile Distribution
To reduce the cost of printing and mailing, the church council voted at its last meeting,
Thursday, October 22, to discontinue mailing the monthly newsletter, The
Missile. Copies will be available on-line at the church web site, http://www.gbgm-umc.org/fumccb-fl,
or can be picked up at the church. This policy will be implemented January 1, 2010.

Fish Many people have asked for Buds address, since the passing of

Your Thanksgiving offering will support mission
efforts through our apportioned share of what God is seeking to bless through the United Methodist
Church. Thanksgiving offering envelopes are
located in each pew for you to share your blessings and reach out to a hurting world with
the love of Jesus Christ.
CHURCH - WIDE
CHRISTMAS DINNER - FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11.
Our Church-wide Christmas dinner will be held
in Eschtruth Hall on Friday, December 11 at 6 PM. A great catered dinner will be
served. Our own Local Men's Quartet will entertain you with wonderful
Christmas music. Special Mission Recognitions will be presented. Tickets
for the dinner will be available before and after all services on Sundays or in the church
office during the week, for $14.00. Ticket sales will close on December 6.
Come join your Church Family for this Festive
Evening.
Work off
those extra calories from all the Thanksgiving goodies and help with putting up our
Christmas decorations on Monday, November 30th at 9:00 a.m. Please sign up in
the narthex, if you are willing to help with this annual tradition. If you forget to sign
up, come help us anyway. The more we have, the easier and more fun it is, so please join
us if you can. Any questions, contact Jocie Taylor 782-2904.
Tim Taylor also
needs a couple of men to assist him in putting up the manger in front of the church on
November 30th at 9 a.m. Please contact Tim at 783-2904, if you are willing to
help.
Parsonage Open House - Saturday, December 5th,
from 2:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. All are Welcome!
Christmas Cantata - On December 6th,
we will be having one Sunday Service, which will be our Christmas Cantata. Please consider
coming and singing the music is beautiful and will lift your spirits as we enter
this hectic season.
Outside Church Activities:
Salvation Armys Angel Tree On
November 23rd and 24th, we have been assigned to work from 10 a.m. through 8
p.m at the Merritt Island Mall. We are asking for volunteers to each work at least a 2
hour shift. If you are interested, please call Betty Kreidel at 783-7225.
Thanksgiving
Eve Service The
Ministerial Associations ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Service for the beaches, will
worship at First Baptist Church of Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on November 25th. Everyone is
welcome to participate and Pastor Patrice will be preaching.
