6-27-99: Our Youth went to the North Carolina Mountains on a mission trip called "Carolina Cross Connection." This was a one week, work filled, mission trip to help out needy families. Our Team consisted of the following: Amy Butler, Leslie Costner, Kelly Messera, Lauren Ledbetter, Mandy Haney, Dawn Will, Jordan Will, Jerry Allen, J.D. Wray, Maggie Wray, and Eddie Ingram. Our group joined others from around the region and broke off into work teams with specific tasks. The Motto for Carolina Cross Connection is: "Go Make Disciples of Men." The tasks that our team performed included: painting, building decks, pouring a concrete walkway, building Wheelchair ramps, re-roofing, washing windows, building porches, and various yardwork.
GREAT JOB TEAM, because "when you do it for the least of these, you do it unto Me" (quote from Jesus!)
