Children's Sunday School

There are many important things for children to learn as they grow. We want them to know about the Bible and about the traditions of their faith. We want them to be able to use what they learn so that they can make decisions as they grow which reflect our values as Christians. But the most important thing that we want our children to come to know in this place is GOD. To do this, we use employ the "Godly Play" method of Children's Education.

We have classes for children age Pre-K through 1st grade,
2nd & 3rd grades, and 4th - 6th grades

Education Goals for 2004

1. One new teacher accredited in Godly Play
2. Introduce four new prophet stories in Godly Play
3. More teachers and doorkeepers to give current teachers time off
4. Identify the classrooms by number
5. Develop an Adult Curriculum that Adults would have interest in attending
6. Work on communication to parents, possibly through Sunday School newsletters
7. Have children more present in Worship services
8. Vacation Bible School

Youth Sunday School

7th grade - Senior in High School.
We also have a very active Youth Group

 

Adult Sunday School

Nurture your faith while the kids are in Sunday School.
